Welcome to SERV Food Bank

We are 100%
Volunteer Driven

Since 1993, the SouthEast RockyView (SERV) Food Bank Society has been a cornerstone of Langdon and rural Alberta—powered entirely by compassionate locals like yourself who want to give back to the community.

From our humble basement beginnings, to our current home behind Langdon Community Church, we’ve grown with our community, while delivering nutritious support with care and dignity.

As an affiliate of Food Banks Alberta and Foodbanks Canada, we collect donations and purchase food so it can be stored safely, and then distributed to those in need—ensuring no one in our SERV area faces hunger alone.

You Can Help a Lot by Donating for Charity

Our Values

These goals are all underpinned by the core values that shape everything we do. These aren’t just words—they represent the heart of who we are and how we serve. Support, communicate, collaborate and create opportunities for connection.

Ethics – Treating everyone we interact with at our foodbank with the utmost respect and dignity. Respond, listen, support and anticipate our community needs and concerns. Value our community supporters and sponsors who ensure we can continue to SERV our clients.

Helping Hands that support our Community

Our volunteers are passionate community members who bring their skills, compassion, and dedication to support people facing challenging times. We work hard to uplift our local community, transforming surplus food into vital support and reducing any food waste by redirecting it to local farmers.

"With every food hamper packed and every hand extended, we’re building a stronger, more caring future—together." – Tanya Didomenicantonio, Chair
