These Terms and Conditions govern the use of SERV Food Bank’s donation page and your interaction with the donation form hosted via CanadaHelps. By making a donation through our platform, you agree to the following terms:
1. Donation Processing
- All donations made through this website are processed securely by CanadaHelps.
- CanadaHelps is a registered charity and provides official donation receipts on behalf of SERV Food Bank (South East Rocky View Food Bank).
- Transactions are subject to the terms and policies of CanadaHelps, including payment processing and refund policies.
2. Use of Funds
- Donations received by SERV Food Bank will be used to support our mission to alleviate food insecurity and provide community-based food services to residents in Langdon, Indus, Dalemead, and surrounding areas.
- While SERV Food Bank will make every effort to allocate funds as directed by donors (if applicable), we reserve the right to use donations where they are most needed unless otherwise specified.
3. QR Code and Donation Access
- SERV Food Bank uses QR codes to direct donors to our secure donation landing page.
- Donors are responsible for ensuring they are scanning an official QR code provided by SERV Food Bank and landing on a legitimate web page (look for “servfoodbank.ca” in the URL).
- We are not liable for any misuse or misdirection of unofficial QR codes by third parties.
4. Changes to Terms
- SERV Food Bank may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Continued use of the donation page following changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
